Search Queries
A name or place entered into a search box is sent to the outside company operating that tool. The provider processes the request and supplies its results. Walker County Criminal History does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email sent to us may be retained long enough to respond and maintain the related correspondence. We keep messages within the organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
Our servers receive basic technical details when a visitor loads a page:

No Criminal-Record Data on File
Walker County Criminal History does not maintain, compile, or sell a database of personal criminal records. It identifies official routes through the Walker County Sheriff's Office, the county courts, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation's Georgia Crime Information Center, and the Georgia Sex Offender Registry. Government access is governed by the Georgia Open Records Act, while O.C.G.A. §§ 35-3-34 and 35-3-37 govern criminal-history dissemination and qualifying record restriction. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports or third-party criminal files.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. Information submitted there is governed by the provider's privacy policy rather than this policy. Each provider controls its retention and disclosure practices, so review those terms before sending a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to the Walker County Sheriff, court portals, Georgia agencies, legal resources, or outside search services. Once a visitor leaves this domain, the destination's own policy applies. Review it before providing personal information.
Advertising companies may use their systems to observe activity across websites and select ads. Their tracking is not controlled by Walker County Criminal History.
